1928-08-28 - Transcript of Record (Incomplete) - Peltier Glass Co. v The Akro-Agate Co (US Court of Appeals case # 4089, 1927)

Recommended Posts

It says incomplete and at some point around page 447 it skips to somewhere in the 500s, so I imagine there are other gaps throughout.

Contains depositions with terrific descriptions of marble making, etc. PDF is attached. Images are just sample excerpts.

Edit: I have also included a separate document containing plaintiff exhibits in color. Hopefully more such documents will surface. These documents are from the University of Illinois-Urbana and scanned by Google, so it's possible the university has others.

591 pages? Oh my!

Interrupting my marble history geek-out to marvel at how many millions (billions? zillions?) of books there must be like this for all the court cases in our litigious history.  Something I never thought about before.

Thought the same, and how lucky we are that folk were so litigious because we get these great depositions with raw history!
