What kind of marble is this?

Cleaning out my grandmothers house I came across two collections of marbles. One in a jar another in an enveloped dated from 1965. I have no marble experience and am hoping to identify and figure out which ones need to be put away for safe keeping(aka out of my kids’ hands 🤣)

This marble is clear, and I think the “lines” are seams as they’re smooth

Thanks for any and all help 😊😊

"Welcome to Marble Connection"  :wave2:

Looks like a regular clearie or industrial marble, either way a very very low value if any ??  You never know though, keep posting whatever you have  :)

Cat eye, try a neutral colored background like gray, white and black don't work so well, something easy, felt or a blanket or tweel, whatever you have. I've found grey felt works the best. for me

That is as best of an opener that I could expect.

The size and color suggest that this one was made in Mexico by Vacor, maybe a big “Alien”, not much value though.
If you have any others to post look for multiple colors involved and give us multiple views of each. 3-4 marbles at a time please.

These clear based ones are usually a bust, look for opaque marbles.

Pretty marbles for sure.

Low value for sure.

Based on what you have shown us--I would put them in a fancy jar and ask $20 and accept $15.

The cold hard truth is not always what many expect--you will get it from us here at "TheMarbleConnection".

They may be a great thing to display in your household as well--just memories--that counts too.

Thanks for checking in and for the nice images as well.

Marble--On!!
