akroorka Posted December 13 Report Share Posted December 13 Peltier--no doubt. Peltier marbles were made in Illinois, Ottawa to be specific. They were very successful using what they had in the back yard. I will appreciate any other info as to what the Ottowa plant had in its back yard and why a glass plant was located there. Most marble companies were located in either WV or Ohio because of the abundance of nice working minerals and the major resource of natural gas to fire the furnaces that melted the glass.
