Please excuse the original dust and crumbs. This is just how they looked as I took them out of a very old envelope. They are going to get a little cleaning before they join their new friends in my glass covered trays. Please tell me what we are? Thank you so much ! These images were tweaked a bit to show details. I would say that at least half of them would qualify as oxblood—pretty cool marbles—very cool. Tell us why you think that they are from South America. Maker??? Size??? The base glass looks like it was "recycled". The Southern America’s have had many German influences since the late thirties and Forties/Fifties/Sixties. I would love to learn some more about these marbles. The yellow in these is very cool—and different at the same time from what we see here in the USA and Europe. Nice share here—give us more info. Since she was maybe 30 yrs older than me and I’m middle age, I wasn’t going to doubt her, lol. That’s all I have to go on? They are all about 3/4-7/8” and I’ve got about dozen of them.
