Introduction

Hello everyone . My name is Nikiforos and I am from Greece . I’m a completely new “collector” who has taken an interest in marbles after finding my old collection (mostly cat eyes). I am interested in adding new pieces and I have some questions . I wanna collect the known vacor marbles and then go to other machine made marbles like akro. I was able to find on different stores in Greece , some packs of marbles which were created by Vacor( some discontinued). I also saw a website called “House of Marbles” which different people recommended on Reddit . The marbles that this store sells , are they vacor sold under the same or different name ? Are they something else ? I am kinda lost and I don’t know where to start . Obviously I am not interested in German hand made marbles and the likes . Any suggestions will be appreciated. Anyways , I’m glad I discovered this community!

Welcome Nikiforos to TheMarbleConnection.

I think that you will find Plenty of Vacor in your country. Just look around at second hand shops and thrift shops.

The stores that cater to the arts and crafts folks will also carry some marbles.
