Shamrock Marbles
A few questions… What would you call the base glass? Yellow Alabaster? Yellow Moonstone? Other? Lastly, is the wispy white part of the base glass or considered a third glass? Thanks in advance for your input.
Ric
Interesting questions. As a collector and not a glass chemist, I just refer to it as an Ade base. I would also consider the white to be part of the base and not an additional color, since I don't think it came from a striping pot. In my mind, a Silver Oxblood is pretty much the same marble with an Ace base instead of the Ade base.

I agree with Ric especially in this instance. The ox in this one is the same as what is commonly found in a Silver oxblood---runny more bloody--not so thick and not so showy--if you know what I mean. In my humble experience--this type of base glass holds up under wear better than a silver. Nice find! Marble--On!!
