If it was a Tiger Eye it would be a Type IV - Type III are veneered on a transparent base. No need to be sorry. It does look like there might be a little bit of clear streaking in the white base. But if the base itself was transparent it would be more obvious - you would likely see it looking like clear lines between the patches and ribbons, and backlighting would surely tell the tale. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
