Master Brushed Cobalt or Melted Pontils?

I have never posted for help with ID'ing a marble before, however I HAVE read hundreds of other people's posts! This group has helped immensely in my quest to ID roughly 12,000 of my late-father's marbles I inherited last year.

This marble is nearly an inch in diameter (0.98 in) and doesn't seem to fit the pics and descriptions I've seen for a Master Brushed Cobalt. The color is definitely cobalt-y. The white coloring is definitely coated on the exterior of the marble (as evidenced by the chips), but is also internal. As you go around it almost seems to move from interior to exterior.

The white has a chalky texture and appearance in places. I can't identify any obvious cut lines. I've handled and examined hundreds of Germans but this doesn't appear to have ground pontils. I've never knowingly seen a melted pontil before.

What do I have here? Thanks in advance!

Master Made Marbles were designed to compete with the “German Hand-made” marbles, both in design and hardness.
Yours is just huge but it saw some great action in the pits. Yes, it is beat up but this one speaks to me—I just love it.
I have not seen many of these larger ones, let alone one that has seen this much play. Someone was winning with very big thumbs and fingers there. Just a monster marble and the player/shooter as well, what a bully this one was.
I am ready to call it a Master Made Marble—an earlier one—not Master Glass Marble but a Master Made Marble from the earlier times.
The base glass was harder—or sometimes softer than the outlying glass, giving the idea of it being a pontil.
Glass does not mix, it just gets along with each other, and it takes hits such as yours in different ways. Generally, the outer glass is the weakest.
I know that Master Glass made some that were similar, just not as deep in color as this one. (the white)
I had fun with this one and I appreciate all opinions regardless of my post.
Thanks for sharing this one!
Marble—On!!
