akroorka Posted October 4, 2025 Report Share Posted October 4, 2025 Yes--Welcome for sure to "TheMarbleConnection" Bee. You seem to be convinced on finding this one deep during a dig. I would like to see some more images of it. Chaulkies are generally considered to be a marble that was underground for some time and had a reaction with the earth that caused an appearance that involved a raised appearance of chalk. They are very cool to find and see--I have never held one. I am not sure that any of these ever made it to the general sales but I doubt it highley. I like your marble--just not enough here to call one way or another. It does look like a clay from what you have posted so far. Regardless--a nice find and marble--just show some more of it.
