This one when held a foot away from my desk light, is a fiery orange translucent conqueror type marble. It is 21/32". There aren't really any striations inside the base, these images kind of exaggerate what is on the surface only, but it has bubbles and appears a bit cloudy on the inside. I am sure somebody will want pictures of this but the daylight tomorrow will provide the light I need. In the meantime . . . Thanks!

I say yes. Probably a Vienna Vitro. I think this is an Opal that pre dates the veneer type🔥

I appreciate that Fire! What a difference a day makes. Here's some pictures I just took with my gray sky window in the background for backlighting this morning. If I can ID an Opal, it may help me in the future and others too. First with patch on top, second two with patch on bottom turned 180 degrees for both sides. Thanks.

Agree W opal, those last pix are the clincher. Remember though lots of different manufacturers made marbles W opal glass not just Vitro. Nice mib BTW
