Chad G.
Seeing Akro, mixed Ade base makes no sense to me. Ade base means it reacts to uv, either it does or it doesn't. This is another attempt to build a mediocre marble up to something it's not. If the description wasn't there would you still be drawn to the marble ?? A good marble will sell itself. But buy whatever you like, you're the only you, you have to make happy A shooter is around 3/4ths" starting out, 9/16ths is to small, 5/8ths to 3/4 are target marbles. So when they refer to the marble as being a shooter @ 9/16ths ?? The OP is an Akro patch with oxblood IMO. Personally I would give $15.oo-$25.oo at the most for this marble, I have been collecting since 1984 and have seen just about everything. I quit buying off eBay in 2002, bought from shows and other collectors ever since, better prices and better marbles, I like to haggle and trade to. I have found a little patience will give you exactly what you want and in the condition you want it. I have loads more oxblood but I really like some of these.
