How about sets by sizes did anyone ever collect one of each size?

I like those Vacors but I stay in the 9/16 to 1 inch range and sometimes get a bigger or smaller if the detail is still nice. 

They tend to lose eye appeal and have cold folds when they are really large in my experience. Coincidently for fun I just put a 10 pc graduating set of crystal clear marbles in a tiny jar but they might be from several makers. They look neat lined up.

I really liked the 50mm size when they had bubbles 

they did get a lot of annealing folds though

Toebreakers!

I might have 1 of those and a few next size down. I have a beautiful perfect 1 5/8th Glitterbomb but I assembled a nice Sampler 10 oz net bag and it is now part of that assortment. I thought I should post my silly clear set I was mentioning above.

Getting bigger would be much easier than getting smaller. That tiny one is 8.8mm and the next size up are both from a Glasfirma Mexico net bags. I remember because they counted them as 1 marble of the contents I was supposed to have.

With that look / I would think it was a first year Michael Angelo   They only had a clear base like that for the initial year

Initially the Michael Angelo was on a transparent base …these would be very rare 

 

next runs Vacor made them with an opaque base 

 

here are first run

Fiestas had a transparent base with thin streams of orange, blue, yellow, and red

Michael Angelos had a clear blue base with swirls of red,  white, orange and yellow sometimes the blue and yellow would mix into green

I understand your point of view. Actually, in the past, "Michelangelo" had been considered, due to this clear base that you mentioned.

However the op shows the typical fiesta colors
