Slag or Swirl?

The glass distribution is slag-like.

However, the texture of the white looks non-American, so unless other views reveal a certain kind of pontil, it's not in the group I would usually call a "slag".

I'm gonna say not Akro.  Am trying to decide between Europe and Japan because of the texture of the white.

Thanks - No pontil evidence and It came from the States with a few WV swirls (mainly Alley but also a few I'm struggling with (as per usual :) ). Not saying it couldn't be non-US but my feeling is it probably is...

I'll go Crease Pontil Transitional. Just no crease to bee seen. I totally agree with Stephs white observation.

I think the lighting is playing visual tricks - the white isn't smooth and shiny - it's very much the same texture as Akro and Pelt slags
