thanks Al for sharing those with me. it's funny as i just got done posted a pic of another single vane cat that i found. i guess you could call the color aqua? but i've got some serious doubts about it. thanks again, jack

awhile back i posted a 21/32" single vane cat in green glass. picked up some cat's today and found another 21/32" single vane cat in aqua. it's no where near as nice as my green one, the first pic, but it would be pretty cool if everyone likes it. thanks, jack

wow, that is one sweet marble, maybe he will trade me lol. jack -
darn, i keep getting my posts in the wrong category. i kinda thought getting an i.d. on the maker would fall into the marble i.d. forum. sorry for the goof. jack

i posted this once before but did not get much feedback. it's 2 1/4" with no markings. can contemporary marbles be i.d. by an artists indivdual style or color combinations? thanks, jack

i seem to remember a few years back there were WV folks and others who were selling sealed bags, quarts, gallons or whatever of soil (and hopefully marbles) through the mail, lol, i think they guaranteed some with every order. does anyone else remember this and is it still going on? thanks, jack

HI al, Just some chat.. I was wondering if you ever make the drive accross the border? I have a friend in Eureka, Randy George who has a fantastic marble collection. Very likeable person and would be worth a visit if you are passing through. Eureka was also the home of Harry Dixon who's marble collection was of museum quality. He passed away a few years ago and I was lucky enough to be invited to his home several times and unbelievable would be an understatement. jack
