  2. awhile back i posted a 21/32" single vane cat in green glass. picked up some cat's today and found another 21/32" single vane cat in aqua. it's no where near as nice as my green one, the first pic, but it would be pretty cool if everyone likes it. thanks, jack
  3. marble is 7/8" and isn't that a wispy V as shown in photo.sure hope it's vitro thanks, jack

  6. i posted this once before but did not get much feedback. it's 2 1/4" with no markings. can contemporary marbles be i.d. by an artists indivdual style or color combinations? thanks, jack
  7. some crazy bead ended up inside this cat and when enlarged you can even see the hole..anyone else got any?. thanks, jack

  9. i'm having a heck of a time identifying adventurine in my cat's. most of the ones i suspect are similar to the photos posted but i'm not too sure if it isn't just a stray dark vane on them. am i right with any?. thanks, jack

  13. i seem to remember a few years back there were WV folks and others who were selling sealed bags,quarts,gallons or whatever of soil (and hopefully marbles) through the mail, lol, i think they guaranteed some with every order. does anyone else remember this and is it still going on? thanks, jack

  15. HI al, Just some chat.. I was wondering if you ever make the drive accross the border? I have a friend in Eureka, Randy George who has a fantastic marble collection. Very likeable person and would be worth a visit if you are passing through. Eureka was also the home of Harry Dixon who's marble collection was of museum quality. He passed away a few years ago and I was lucky enough to be invited to his home several times and unbelievable would be an understatement. jack
