  1. Agreed to all your points Ron, I am no akro expert by any means. I have seen those tank wash marbles and this looks a little different. There is a definite seam though. Many times an old time collection may have a handful of newer ones....that is usually the norm actually
  2. i have seen those, but the whole collection was old, it is unlikely this one snuck in....but I suppose it is possible. Yes, there is oxblood on the surface
  3. The matrix is clear...but there is a little bit of brown swirled in too
  4. Hey everyone, I bought a huge vintage collection today and in with some cat eyes was this. It is just at 5/8 and has actual oxblood swirled in between a sinlge seam on a clear base. the seam is obvious, but this marble is so tough to photo. It is not the new Jabo oxblood ones either. Clear MFC brick? Akro? CA error? 1. Who made it? 2. Help! Rarity/worth Thanks, Craig
  5. Those are awesome, if mine is not a chocolate, what is it? Anyone want it?shoot me a pm. Craig
  6. In that last pic, what is the top left? How rare is that thing (tan and brownish red)
  7. Great iinfo, thanks Chuck and relay that back to Clyde for me too:) Craig
  8. Found this one in that last lot, it has the colors of a pelt blue panther(black on blue), but is it considered one since it is a more of a rainbo and not a NLR? I need for help over here! Thanks in advance, Craig
  9. Thanks Bill, Is yours translucent also? and does the chocolate glow with black light? Thanks!
  10. in hand it is more brown than olivey green from the pics
  11. Hi, I got this the other day, usually I dont collect Akro, so not sure why I bought it....but it looked to me to be a choc ox. It has a very dark choc brown color and when back lit is more translucent and tannish brown. Please check out the pics and give me some opinions please! Thanks marblers
  12. I collect Christensen because i am from ohio and i like looking for them. The rarity is what does it for me as well as the unparalleled color pallet. Obviously these are probably vacor and the two i thought were cac are actually not in all likelyhood. They are pretty, but not rare, asthetically nice, but not my cup of tea
  13. That was it, just those three. The gray/yellow looked like a cork from the pics. The blue yellow looks correct, but i may have been duped!
  14. Galen, What say you on the first two?
  15. Got a small lot off the bay with bad pics. Scored a nice blue/yellow CA with a sweet turkey head, I think a harder to find CA that is yellow and Gray (translucently awesome) and some other green/yellow/red marble that I swear is new but, it came with the others which I know means nothing but..........what is it?!? Thanks Peeps, Craig
  16. Yeah, it makes finding those ca's alot easier:)
