Zaboo, I think I found its brother or sister, 3/4" with that sort of electric green with browns mixed in on a moonie base. I have been trying to get an Id, is this one close to yours? Mine is not necessarily hand gathered but does have a cut mark. Interested, Craig

does the green one in the second row have a transluscent brownish/green base? I have one similar to it, but not hand gathered like yours and have been trying to place it. Thanks for your time, those mibs are awesome! Craig

If someone around here bought it, can we get some pics when it arrives at your house? thanks it is always nice to learn, Craig

I think the marble being bid on was a CAC opaque guinea, at least thats why I was bidding, you can see the cuts, a good pic on p133 of Collecting early machine made marbles. But if its Akro, i am glad I didnt win, but it is awesome! Craig

Looks like a brick from first pic in second row and looks like it has two cut marks Craig

I have one just like Galens and it is very clear green highly bubbly base glass and distinct coral color with no white. Check it out, it also has the characteristic of the CAC mottling in the coral color. Sorry about the lighting it is late here. Craig

Griff, I really like perch...but I am going to have to hold onto this one for a while. You can really see in hand the color separation and how the glass is "folded" in layers so to speak, Craig -

So I saw a few of these at the Columbus show being sold for alot more than I thought they were worth and I told the fellow selling them that I had six and he says they are very rare (run on sentence)But......there were mixed reviews as to exactly what they were. Anyone know for sure? Colors of baby blue, rust red, brown and white on a clear base with two seams all 5/8" I think they might be a certain type of akro sparkler, but that baby blue sure looks vitro to me or maybe even master? AHHHHHHH help appreciated as always. Craig

Greg, I never got to meet you, I had a bunch of big and small slags reserved with your name on them, Maybe ill see you at the show in February. Craig
