  1. Upper left example is a coral with a bonus nice metallic swirl
  2. so...did you sell the Vacor as an Alley Mountain Dew to somebody? Did somebody buy it for the price of an Alley Mountain Dew? I doubt somebody would pony up without knowing what it is, but am interested. What happenned with the sale?
  3. I am worried the Alley Mountain Dew is a Vacor with that white in it
  4. I believe they may be Champion
  5. I doubt anybody would be able to correctly attribute this marble to the JABO ET Crystal Run, but thats what it is. Many of the JABO patches without lutz or aventurine might be confused for old marbles.

    Cairo?

    I agree with Steph
  7. This is what I use now. They are cheap but last unless you drop them too many times. This is my second one. They are still available under 10 bucks with shipping I just saw on ebay.
  8. Blacklights are even cheaper than they used to be. Surprising. Giving these two a shot. The tube one is 10".
  9. What do folks recommend. I have tried old fashioned standard bulb size blacklight bulbs, squigley shape newer style blacklight bulbs, I had longer tube style plug in blacklight at one point, and the handheld tube style. I also tried a couple very cheap but older flashlights supposedly blacklights that basically were not. From the things I have tried the only one I have relied on is the tube handheld battery ones because of ease of use. I think I still have both kinds of screw in standard sized black light bulbs somewhere. The handheld one works for me, but if there is something folks like better I want to try it. The standard sized bulbs required a lamp of some sort which then was sort of a pain to move around and store. I haven't tried any kind of UV led light at all for the purpose of exposing UV reactive glass. I love led lights for other uses however. Stick with what works or is there a more powerful focussed beam solution out there that is user friendly? LOVE LOVE LOVE my cheap led loupe. Everybody must get one!
  10. I believe it is a Czech bullet mold, but it is bigger than the few I have.
  11. Is the base really transparent blue like in the pics? I havent seen Euro Sparklers with tinted bases before. Maybe it is just the blue background.
  12. I hope it is clear I was saying some Champions have it. I believe some Mid Atlantics have it too. Did MK do it at all(I don't know)?
  13. I have to see if I can find pics, but I have modern marbles with lashes
  14. I have never even found a lot with a bunch of high end CACs though...so it does seem odd there would be any Vacors in the same lot
  15. or is it just a Vacor Sunflower with a typical simple fold
  16. Sure looks like a standard Vacor Dragon
  17. can we see the yellow and green in clear better? Looks unusual
  18. People go that extra mile sometimes. I can't see the original auction but have no doubt there is somebody somewhere putting fake playwear on new marbles
  19. Here is one of mine. I have more but need to take pics(and find them)
  20. ugh, that came out tiny. It is Vacor paperwork IDing the Guacamaya top left. Same marble as Dragon. Their example doesn't include the nice extra colors or other variations that can show up in marbles
  21. I believe the Guacamayas and Dragons are the same. These were just a nice early run of them. It is very possible these nice ones didn't get marketed in the USA, but they are the same marble style as the dragons.
  22. It looks like that one is 11/2” big in the photo. If it is really that big it would likely be Vacor.
