  1. Ok, that's puLLENty equal time... Surely there must be more cat luvers out there
  2. Three Two identical triplets twins...it must've took awhile to be able to tell them apart. And you must've had help gathering together that handful. My cats would never allow that.
  3. First two are of Bootsie, who departed on June 25, 1994, at 7 years old. He was a Maine Coon. He had no less than 30 different kinds of meows, and I knew what all of them meant Next one is Misty, who is 12 years old, and is Big Boy's niece. She is the indoor cat, he is the outdoor cat. Whereas he is a lap cat all the way, she barely tolerates being touched most of the time. Big Boy with Penelope, his sister, who mysteriously disappeared without a trace, on June 30, 1999, after we heard a single terrific screech in the middle of the night. No body was ever found, and we looked everywhere.
  4. ...I ran across these. They give me the creeps. Reminds me of some shrunken heads that I saw in a museum once when I was a kid. This seller has lots of them. Creepy things
  5. Whoever the zero-feedback bidder is on these guineas, also appears to have bid against me on a CAC Striped Opaque that I just bought from marblealan, FWIW.
  6. This is a GREAT thread! Keep it going! Edna, I'm glad you found a new home for your obsessed kitty instead of having her "put to sleep". I've never heard of a "batweasel" cat...is that an actual breed, or something you made up? That Bongo looks huge! What does he weigh? And Willie looks too fat to move. Love the look "Chance" has on his/her face Just a note about my kitty. He's the sweetest cat you could ever find. Never bites or scratches, except once in awhile he forgets to keep his claws in when he's being playful. I hope he'll be with us for another 13 years!!
  7. Here's my kitty... ...ha, ha, that's funny...MY kitty...guess it's not too hard to tell from these pics who really owns who. He's 13 years old now. His name is Big Boy.
  8. I'm bumping this thread because I'd still like to know what the top center marble is. Looks similar to one of Alan's in post #4.
  9. Sure...blame it on the wife... Two look fake to me, tho I own no guineas and have never seen one in hand.
  10. Thanks, Steph. That explains why I couldn't quite place it in any of the CAC/Alley/Ravenswood categories...forgot about German. Bet it's a shooter too.
  11. Ok, let's talk about that purple/blue/yellow one that mibstified posted...is that a CAC/Ravenswood/Alley? What's the size? Where'd you get it?
  12. Some are yellow and some aren't, but they're in the spirit of the month.
  13. Is that a Galaxy? It's not exactly the kind I had in mind. There are at least two varieties that I'm aware of. I only the collect the ones that look more speckled and less splotchy. I think the splotchy ones are the older ones. I'm looking for the 1" shooters with no white in them, and at least two other colors besides black. I only want the ones on a black base.
  14. Here's some of my yellows, including a Vitro Horseshoe Cat from the infamous Steph (heh, heh). Alan posted a yellow/black one that looks alot like mine in the top center. What do you think it is...Akro, Christensen...? And there's a Ringer corkscrew on the right, if there is such a thing, which I now doubt that there is...probably is just a Moss Agate. Anybody know where I can get some more multicolor Vacor Galaxies?
  15. I think you have the signature upside down. Looks like "J" something "04", when it's turned around. Maybe James Alloway...?
  16. Maybe somebody was trying to get the rust OFF the staples, not put it on...? (Just a thought, anyway)
  17. You just may be right. And doesn't the green usually have some transparency on trees, which that first marble seems to lack? Has anyone seen a Christmas Tree with aventurine?
  18. ...if Patry_D's marble collection ever found its way into a museum yet. And if it has, has anyone seen it yet. Where? How soon are pictures going to be posted, so we all can see it?
  19. I think Bob's is definitely a Christmas Tree, not a Rebel, and that would account for it not having aventurine...right?
  20. Here's a similar-looking 3/4" Peltier "Miller" Christmas Tree that I bought from Marblealan a while back, and that's what he called it. (Cost a pretty penny too).
  21. With buyers being so "cautious" with their bids in these troubled economic times, it's hard for sellers to know how to list anymore. With a reserve, maybe the seller is hoping to get more bids. eBay doesn't refund the reserve fee anymore, even if the item sells at the reserve price. Doesn't make it easy for sellers.
  22. So the oxblood shown in Post #10 is not Ravenswood? Is it Alley then?
  23. What about the K & M, looks like it's on clear base. I thought it had to be translucent.
