  1. I purchased the marbles from a wholesale store in bulk. There's in total around 13,000 marbles.
  2. The slope was around 3 lego unit (near 30 mm) height per 8 track segments (1,024 m, 40 inch).
  3. I'm now looking for a new house with a large livingroom to create a even larger Marble City with over 40 attractions and multiple conveyor belts. It will also contain a "kids zone" with small gentle attractions for the young marbles. Another feature will be some themed zones with special effects.
  4. The underwater marble run, i love it, but it's one of my biggest competitors on youtube. I don't have a swimming pool, so i'm not able to make such underwater marble runs.
  5. Now i'm constructing a miniature version of the marble tsunami, but then with 15,000 mini marbles (3/16 inch).
  6. I haven't any spectators, i just picked a weekday to avoid damage by playing children.
  7. I was just not paying attention, but of course!

  10. Dear Hoody, Thanks for your post, do you have pictures from your marble runs? You can use a marble lifter from another construction set like quercetti skyrail or something like. I'm also trying to come to hannover maker faire next year. My youtube channel attract lots of americans and europeans, but i'm trying to attract asian people as well. In Seoul (south korea), there's a special rolling ball museum as well. But i cannot contact them. Regards, jelle

  12. Dear Steph, Thanks for your interest! I'm setting up my marble runs in very different places, some (mostly the smaller) ones are standing in my home. The bigger ones are standing in public places like indoor playgrounds (the 11000 marbles one), museums, amusement parks, etc. The 11,000 marbles project was viral on youtube, it gave me 2,5 MILLION views in just one week of time, boosting my youtube channel.
  13. I live in Netherlands, and i'm also able to watch this lunar eclipse, but i need go out at 4 o clock in the night. But a solar eclipse is much more spectacular, then we wait to 21 august 2017 in the USA.
  14. This is one of my most mesmerizing marble runs ever! It drops more than 11,000 marbles at the same time through a huge track complex. This video has over 3 million views!
  15. Why starting a new topic instead of giving a reply??? You're welcome indeed, but this subforum needs more replies and attention. Feel free to post comments to boost the attention rate of this subforum.
  16. Quite fast, but you should wait to the week end.
  17. I made a marble race track on a sand hill (Klimduin Schoorl, near Alkmaar, Netherlands) measuring over 750 feet long. 12 marbles (1 inch) will compete to win, they encounter obstacles like junctions, crossings, halfpipes, funnel and a jump.
  18. Nice collection, i also like these pinball games. At my childhood i often maked and played with these ones, i use simply a sheet of wood, some scrap wood, some nails and bicycle bells to make a pinball game. I also had miniature ones with small bearing balls.
