These two are "clear." The single pics in the links below are of the more translucent one with prettier swirls.

Ann, here are other views of the ones with green and brown ribbons. I held them in direct sunlight, even looked at them with my lupe. But I honestly can't get oxblood out of them.... but maybe you could. http://www.carolinefentonphotography.com/Albums/FENTON-MARBLES/i-LgqG6tP http://www.carolinefentonphotography.com/Albums/FENTON-MARBLES/i-qHZX2n5 http://www.carolinefentonphotography.com/Albums/FENTON-MARBLES/i-nLLdGQg http://www.carolinefentonphotography.com/Albums/FENTON-MARBLES/i-dDz8bML

Here are the additional views of the "odd man out" (left one in original post pic). http://www.carolinefentonphotography.com/Albums/FENTON-MARBLES/i-tSQDwCb http://www.carolinefentonphotography.com/Albums/FENTON-MARBLES/i-48bcmD7 http://www.carolinefentonphotography.com/Albums/FENTON-MARBLES/i-JnbcmdZ http://www.carolinefentonphotography.com/Albums/FENTON-MARBLES/i-qMDNHk8 I was able to shoot these in a more natural afternoon light for as much detail. They are a very good representation of what exists.

Sometimes their heads are full of marbles... but most days they are the best dogs on earth. Just thought I would share since a few marbles in my collection apparently are "taters." And once we retire and re-settle, we will be adding a chocolate lab... and his name will be "Tater Bug." (Thanks Steph!)

I have quite a few in this color range. They are so unique that I will obviously have to post in batches of 1-2 max. These are "almost" a me and mini-me combo. The smaller one is smaller than the average marble.

I am going to stop guessing... leave it to the experts... hahahahaha.

Here you go. I did go outside in the last patch of sun and there is aventurine in the black. On both. http://www.carolinefentonphotography.com/Albums/FENTON-MARBLES/i-Cntw8pw http://www.carolinefentonphotography.com/Albums/FENTON-MARBLES/i-qntCzdQ http://www.carolinefentonphotography.com/Albums/FENTON-MARBLES/i-P9hJQFt http://www.carolinefentonphotography.com/Albums/FENTON-MARBLES/i-Mwsqx5X

First of all, I have more cobalts... and greens... and reds... than most anything else. But especially cobalt. In the history of things, were they just more popular? More produced? Talking in terms of "every day" marbles not fancy ones like handmades or anything. I am gonna hazard a guess at the big one... an Alley (like my big greenies earlier)? Then I will put myself on the line and say Akros for the others?
