No old school buttons. If it’s round I collect it. I have a few old buttons.

It’s hard to find marbles in Colorado. I check my local Antique shops but have never found any marbles. Yesterday I saw a jar of buttons and saw one marble on the side of the jar. I started rolling it around and saw another marble. I saw the Vitro Blackie first and then the green and blue WVS. I got home and dumped the jar. Boo-Yah. I thought it was a Zebra Pelt with AV. It’s Blue AV ! What do you call a Blue Zebra ? $7.00 for a jar of buttons. Any ideas on the funky Turkey ? The CAC is just a little more sugar on this group ! BANG

Pelt’s ribbons do alternate like you said. I call it the Pelt “Flip Flop”. MK’s ribbons mirror each other at the seams. WWIF

You might want to start sorting. Start with the marbles that are clear with the little colored ribbons in them. Those are usually called Cats Eyes.

Trust me. Rainbow Sherbet was born along time ago. My Grandma in Iowa always had at least 2 gallons of that in the chest freeze. Ya know….the ones you had to leave out for a half an hour just to try to get one scoop out. Can I get a 2X on my Grandma’s Rainbow sherbet ?

2 and 6 have always been a Pelthead Mushroom mystery to me. The ones I have came from Canada. FWIW

I think the 3 ribbon Imperial has a lot of different traits. I hate the word hermaphrodite but I see this marble split in half in terms of ribbon colors. The colors of the ribbons and baseglass seem to be close to Pelts and or Kokomos. Red,Blue and Green ribbons. Let’s call it the Imperial RBG !
