  1. Ok, another fun marble, but a different sort? It's a cleary, maybe dark blush or wine red (first thought solid black) it's speckles are tiny, almost dust like. The speckles and not inform in size. They are smooth to the surface, orange, yellow, white, and maybe pink.
  2. Ok, this mad crazy marble is fun, but what is it? An error? An experiment? A marble party gone wrong? It's a cleary, with speckles. The specks are not smooth. My fingernail catches bit they are not sticking above the surface.
  3. Yes indeed. Crazy names and false ID's abound. Call me old, but I miss the old internet that had more integrity.
  4. So, from further investigation, could Iit be correct in finding this to be a highbred breed rainbo sunset peerless pearlized patch?
  5. Sorry here is another interesting photo. This extra Yello ribbon is deeper in the glass. The yellow is all black light reactive to a beautiful orange, and the green blue goes to a purple. Also to note, I think the glass is actually clear with some sort of opalescence?
  6. So, the Marble King thing seems (or seams, I'm corny I know) easy enough. What about this sort of marble? Where would I start to identify this sort? Regards, Vance Crash
  7. Similar to the Marble King I posted earlier, however the seams point in the same direction. So, the seams idicate Master? (Crossed fingers)
  8. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! So, patch & ribbon? And a rainbow?
  9. Ok, so, I think I have this one figured out. Let me know how I did, this one, marble king? 1.016" Regards, Vance Crash
  10. Clearly I am still a new guy if I am thrilled by the colors in what I assume to be rather common marbles. I have just completed sorting the lot of 2000+ marbles I picked up last month. I sorted by general colors as well as types. Hopefully I have taken a better quality picture, and with enough variety in regard to the hemispheres being displayed. This is a beautiful milky mint green/red (dark red? Oxblood?) I would call this oxblood if speaking of fine men's shoes for sure. But as I understand, in marbles, oxbloods should contain some distinct black lines, modeling, or texture? As well, some of the blended out red that is transitioning into oranges react strongly to black light and reveal a beautifully vibrant neon salmon like pink. So, enough of my rambling on. What say the Oracles of the orbs. As ever I appreciate your help, and hope to be a valuable contributor one day myself. Regards, Vance Crash
  11. Well, I own it at $22.50
  12. Is that a root beer float? Right now the lot is sitting at $19
  13. Anyone see anything here that I should be added to my collection? Thank you in advance!
  14. Thank you Stephanie, I will work on my skills. Promise.
  15. Ok, well, I am not well equipped for marble photos. I will just have to make do for now. So what do you all think about this one. To me it's rather beautiful. I am sure there is a ton onf information I should include, but I am going to muddle through and I'm appreciate any grace you give me in regard to my ignorance. I will learn...lol Thank you in advance!
  16. I am a bit of an oddities fan myself. Thanks for the education. I am getting ready to post some marbles for ID help. First I'm going to read the photo tips giode. Thanks again! Vance Crash
  17. Love this place, thank you to everyone for being here. As you may suspect I'm new, both to the forum, and to collecting. I purchased an auction lot of 2000 marbles not long ago and I am just starting to have some fun. Check out this oddball cats eye that I found while sorting. Any information about odd inclusions like this one? It looks like some boogery tornado cloud like blob from very near the surface, to almost half way the center. There is no disturbance to the surface, and does not intersect the ribbon inside. Thanks in advance for any comment and insight! Vance Crash
