  1. Ok, here are two very similar yet different marbles. The red ribbons are considerably different color. The bases as well, one Amber, one green. The white ribbons are down into the marble on both, while the reds remain surface. However, the white imside on the green base is more ribbon like, the white on the Amber being blob like inside. Looking at seams, and bubbly transparent am I correctly calibrated with my pelt guess?
  2. Oh no, Royal, that is very funny! I'm a big fan of corny humor, and THAT fits corny to a T! I was just ignorant of the slogan. Thanks for the clarification, and the trivia.
  3. She's always right, no doubt, but does this mean Akro as she last returned to? Lol
  4. And under black light the orange becomes a dark brick red?
  5. Wait, does the fact that it glitters change anything?
  6. Soon as I say that everyone including newbies will jump on it with all the same answer lol! Believe it or not I really think this is an as made marble, not damaged. Who made these tiny little seams?
  7. Looks allot like my champion Jr's but the ribbons are so swirled. Here is a view of the swirls between the seams.
  8. Kinda thought so, thanks Ron. I really love this marble for some odd reason.
  9. What weird seams. It's a green bubbly transparent base as seen in picture 3 (same shot as 2 but back lit). Pic 2 shows a seam that appears to me to look like a hawk, or a camels nose (I know, I'm weird). What is this thing, the seams go kinda nuts don't they?

    Slag

I'm in the same boat Dindo. I think it's more like 4 to 2500 in Marble's favor for me.
  11. Ok, I think I have this one nailed down to pelt, but it's kinda odd. It's like there is an south Pole ribbon, and an equator ribbon. The south Pole ribbon seems to outline a pinkish color base. Is this just the red from the ribbon bleeding into the base white? What kind of marble is it? A rainbo? It has a sliver of reactive glass in the south ribbon.
  12. I have found another, mine all seem to be orange, or yellow.
  13. Thanks for the link, you cleared up a great deal in my mind, although that post did not! Lol!! So, I'm going with a cork on this one.
  14. Akro, cork, is this what is referenced as a "snake"?
  15. This one has a beautiful blue transparent base with tons of seed making it sparkle more than Elton John. It has some ribon depth to it as well. There is a slight fingernail bit of orange UV reaction in the depth of the marble as well.
  16. Ever so slightly, and only from the outside edges of the white. Not certain these pictures depict the fire well.
  17. I feel like I already tried to ID a turkey before but can't find one in my identified pile, nor a post...
  18. So, with seams and color in mind I'm going to guess...oh who am I foolin. Every time I pin it to Master I'm wrong...lol! So, who is this? (Whispering master)
  19. Gotcha, with holes in both ends. You are and endless pool of knowledge. Amazing at every turn. Thank you!
  20. So, with seams and color in mind I'm putting money on Master. Nailed it?
  21. Thanks Steph, I can see what you are saying here. The basics, I'm learning. Thank you again!
  22. I swear the marble I am looking at has one long seam all the way around. What does this mean? Is my mind tricking me? It's .895 inch.

    9&?

Ok, is this a 9 and tail? There is internal structure to this, as the thin line on the surface in the bottom two pictures reveals the structure coming to the surface. However, the "9" does not appear to have any structure into the depth of the marble. The nine seems to be surface only. The color is not photographing well. It's a just a bit more burgundy wine rather that rose pink.
