  1. That makes sense. I have some other champions that I pulled from same lot. I can't wait for Sunday so that I can pick through it again!
  2. Ron, when you view the dark streaks on top of the white they have a red tint. I'm thinking that the "green" glass filters out the "red" and makes the horse hairs appear brown. Hard to capture with the camera, but here are some closeups. What do you think?
  3. That's good to know. It's difficult to tell sometimes from online photos. Thanks for the info!
  4. That's good news. Thanks Ron!
  5. More from the same lot. I picked these thinking they were Moss Agates but with so many others turning out to be Vitro I'm starting to wonder.
  6. That is encouraging! I picked these from a 2.5 gallon bucket from vendor at a flea market. I left the obvious Vacor & Jabos. I thinking I need to go through the bucket a second time. Thanks Steph!
  7. The amber is my favorite but they're both staying with the keepers.
  8. I know that without the packaging transparent swirls are nearly impossible to identify. These 2 have another color (oxblood?) that I'm hoping will provide a clue. The amber one measures 9/16 and the transparent green 19/32.
  9. Another one from the weekend. Red Slag, single seam. No "9 & tail" and no feathering so I'm thinking Akro.
  10. Another marble that came from a lot with a little bit of everything. Jabo Classic or something older?
  11. I'd love it if this one turned out to be old but I suspect its a modern Jabo or Vacor.
  12. I've seen examples of Cairo swirls that are very, very similar so I'm hoping it Cairo.
  13. I think I finally found a Christensen! Measures 5/8.
  14. I'm hoping that the one on the right is a Peltier but I thinking that they're all probably Jabos.
  15. It's clear. I held up to an incandescent lightbulb and the light shines through right where you thought it would.
  16. Thank you Ron. I'll put with my West Virginia swirls.
  17. I've looked at through a jewelers loop and I've shined a light on it and it appears solid.
  18. As always guys, thank you so much for your help!
  19. Thanks Ron. The dark lines line give it a "baseball" look and I guess that was clouding my judgement. Looking at examples of Tiger Eye Type 2 some of them have the dark lines as well. So is this a variation of a Tiger Eye?
