I was pretty sure when I found it was modern but it was just too cool to pass up..
-
It has a very subtle twist... kind of like an elongated "S." Either way, I'm just glad I got the "Akro" part right! Thanks Steph!

I think this is a corkscrew that didn't come out quite right. It seems to have an Akro feel, is this a lazy corkscrew?
-
Thanks Steph. The link to Jose's pic's were very helpful and yes, I meant "Rainbow Red." Got a little ahead of myself there.... Thanks again!

I think these are all Marble King. First 2 are blended Cub Scouts and the top right is a Rainbow. The bottom left is a blended Bumble Bee and the middle one is a blended Girl Scout. The last one is a Red Rainbow. How'd I do?

Yep. That's it! Thanks Steph.

Either way its still one for the scrap heap. I'm still curious though to know what it is. Who knew that looking at tiny glass orbs could be so fascinating?!? Thanks Steph!

Bicentennial Swirl gone wrong?🤔

Sorry for the poor picture quality but sometime I can't get the camera to focus when the pattern is busy...

I know that this could be junk because of the condition issues but I'm dying to know what it is. There is a big flat spot (photo 4) but its smooth, not rough like a chip. Is that a pontil? Is this a transitional??

This is the first blue swirl I've seen with horse hair oxblood, but I'm still very new at this. I'm hoping it's a rarity. I'm guessing Alley or Ravenswood.

Thanks Steph. I think it's a cool name too but I trust what I learn here more than what I've read elsewhere. I'm going on the hunt tomorrow and with what I learned here I'm buying less and less junk these days! Thanks again!

Thanks Steph. I'm leaning that with red & white swirls that Alley is always a good bet. I was hoping for something a little more exotic! 😁 Thanks again!

This one has been sitting around a while and I just found a very similar example online and they were calling it an "Akro Agate Sunset Corkscrew Ace." Is that what this is? Measures 1 inch. Thanks!

Thanks guys. I've been finding some oddities lately but a few keepers too. Headed to flea markets tomorrow. Fingers crossed...Thanks again!

I apologize for the picture quality but this one is so busy I had a hard time getting the camera to focus. Jabo, Champion, or something else?

Thanks Ron

I'm pretty sure this is Peltier but I'm unsure if it is National Line Rainbo or a Rainbo. Does this one have a special name?

Thanks Steph

This is the first Conqueror I've seen with a patch at either pole. Is this a variation or a mistake? Is this rare? Is it a keeper?
