  1. This one measures 15/32 and has a dimple along the seam. Any thoughts on the maker?
  2. Alley is what I thought, but I struggle with swirls. Thanks Ric!
  3. Could be Jabo but the swirls do not have a lot of loops & folds like most Jabos do. It measures 1 inch. Thoughts.
  4. Another flea market find. It measures about 21/32. Christensen maybe??
  5. It only takes 1! There could be a treasure hiding in the middle.
  6. Here's a strange one. Reminds me of a slag. It has an internal finger-like structures that wrap around the circumference of the marble. At the poles there are what appears to be small pontils. Measures about 21/32. Is this some unusual German handmade
  7. Wow! That's the same marble. Has this one been named? Thanks Ric! Thanks Cheese!
  8. Bought more marbles at the flea market this morning. Measures about 5/8. Beautiful swirl but I don't have a clue...
  9. Thanks everyone for your input. Have a great weekend!
  10. Thanks for sharing Cheese. Some of these look familiar, especially the ones with green and orange ribbons. I have 3 plastic boxes full of West Virginia Swirls. Every so often as I learn more I'll go them to see if I have any hidden gems. Looks like its time to do that again!
  11. Thanks Dave and thanks Cheese! I never would have guessed Heaton. Most of the other swirls are white or green based with a single-color ribbon. Below are the only other ones that stand out. Any good ones? If anyone would like more photos of these let me know. Thanks!
  12. Swirls are so befuddling to me. Pleassseeee be Green Ravens!
  13. I bought a jar of marbles today and I'm thinking these are Alley Corals. They measure 5/8. Thoughts?
  14. Thank y'all! I appreciate the help! I'm learning but IDing swirls still drives me crazy. Thanks again!
  15. I've had these in the unidentified box for a while now. They measure 5/8".
  16. I'll take a shot. Left one Champion, right one Jabo.
  17. I'm definitely pleased, and I've learned a lot!
  18. Thanks to all for your comments. Have a fantastic President's Day Weekend!
  19. The Spiderman is 7/8 Chad. I wish it didn't have the dings but it is what it is. Nicest one I have...
  20. Thanks Newton. I'm used to paying $30 or $40 for a peanut butter jar full of beat-up marbles hoping to find a few keepers. I get a bit antsy when I spend more than $100. It was the big blue one that convinced me to buy. It's been played with and has a couple of hit marks but I like it. The Special Prize Name is pretty sweet too.
