Happy Akro Friday HTF amythest flowerpot/thumbpot...looks "black" until backlit. My understanding was that some had the artwork and some didn't, leaving me to assume that this version is more desirable.

A somewhat worn but nice Japanese transitional I found a few months back.

I know we as collectors here at MarbleConnection have shared various posts pertaining too our Asian counterparts regarding marble manufacturing, history of, etc.... I thought it would be fun to start up a category focusing exclusively on Japanese and Chinese influence in the marble world. I am aware that some collectors like them, and some don't. But one cannot deny the beauty in some of the marbles that have been found or are still being discovered out there. Share your pics and any info that you might want to include along with them.

Glass or Plastic? Any way to acquire information from the seller pertaining to what it could be, or what the seller described it as when for sale? Would be interesting information 😊

I'd go for some yummy pea salad with hunks of cheese like that any day. That's definitely what I miss with family reunions.
