  1. Nice images--not a wirepull imho. WVS--common to find. There are very few people left in this world that can ID a "Jackson" imho. If it is yours--keep it--I would not buy it based on what you are looking for. Marble--On!!
  2. River dug or outhouse marbles?--Maybe. I think that you have a few glass ones mixed in here. I do not see any "Bennies". Clay for the most part. Tap them on a tooth to tell the diference. Brian Graham has researched American made clays more than any one else. I can never remember his user name here but this is a link to his website. https://www.briangrahamglass.com/marbles/ Marble--On!!
  3. I know what Al is thinking here--nice marble! Akro made a snake with these colors for sure--very pretty are they. I will have to call this one a WVS imho, made by a variety of makers. I would not call this one a Jabo for some reason. Nice images! Marble--On!!
  4. Some Bogard black cats. Enjoy Steph!!!
  5. You have a lot of interesting marbles as a group and most are vintage type. With the exception of that “Silver Oxblood” I do not see any worth the bank. If you are looking at selling them you have a few options. Sell them yourself as a group on E-bay or Face book, send them to one who takes a commission (about 30% last I checked) or just keep them as mementos and spread them around the family. Thanks for sharing and asking about your Grandmas marbles, they have been a joy to see. Consider what I say here and get back for any info. Marble—On!!
  6. It is little--it is cute--it is a Jabo imho--"Classic"--made for the masses and sold as such. Nice marble--Nice images as well. Marble--On!!
  7. The silver ox that Va mentions is the best for sure. Condition is what matters here—one little flea bite knocks the value down. This is a way better group than your other post shows. Still-- not much value even thought there are a majority of Akro Agate "Patches" involved in your first several images. As a marble—these are not really that valuable—in a group-they will bring some money—not much though. Patches are stinkers and they have to be super nice to sell as an individual and expect any return for your efforts. Your first image shows Peltier “Rainbos” even these big ones are quite common—even today. If you put this (all of them) group into a jar and had it for sale—I would be tempted to spend $60-$80 or more. Marble—On!!
  8. Pretty marbles for sure. Low value for sure. Based on what you have shown us--I would put them in a fancy jar and ask $20 and accept $15. The cold hard truth is not always what many expect--you will get it from us here at "TheMarbleConnection". They may be a great thing to display in your household as well--just memories--that counts too. Thanks for checking in and for the nice images as well. Marble--On!!
  9. That is as best of an opener that I could expect. The size and color suggest that this one was made in Mexico by Vacor, maybe a big “Alien”, not much value though. If you have any others to post look for multiple colors involved and give us multiple views of each. 3-4 marbles at a time please. These clear based ones are usually a bust, look for opaque marbles. Marble—On!!
  10. We are all new--every day we find out new stuff. You are "Just Starting" so more power to you, you will find out more new stuff than the rest of us here and that is what is so cool about this hobby. If you are looking for value--this one does not add up to very much. If you are looking for eye appeal--then you did it quite nicley--- in your world at least and that is what counts. Collect what you like and I think that you like this one--that is enough for me. Marble--On!!

    MK ?

Size always matters--always. I am X2 with Melissa. Nice images! Cropping does not take long though. Marble--On!!
  12. I agree with Carowill--probably an Alley Agate. Many companies made this color combo--it could be a Champion--just sayin! @cheese knows his swirls, perhaps he has some input on this one. Marble--On!!
  13. Yes, what Melissa says for sure. 3-4 marbles at once with multiple angles will produce better results as far as ID goes. There are no "Carnelians" in your images. Mojo and Melissa have the rest covered pretty well. Marble--On!!
  14. Just a "Killer" Akro my friend. I just love it! Nice images for sure! Marble--On!!
  15. LOL! We all try to behave here but it does not always work out like we meant. I always try to edit before I post--sometimes I even ask my wife for input. Those "same cane" are awesome. Is there oxblood involved or are my eyes failing--again👀. Marble--On!!
  16. Be carefull my friend--it may turn out to be better than you expected--you may never turn back. Try collecting train cars instead and get less addicted. We are all here to help with your further addiction if you choose such. I just love this stuff!! Marble--On!!
  17. There are too many to ID as far as books go my fellow collecting friend. You will have to pick what you like and go from there, start with an older more affordable book such as "Grists big book of marbles" Marble--On!!
  18. I am no saint but I will not account for any misbehavior towards new collectors (or others for that matter). There are no stupid questions—just ask and be rewarded. This place—“The Marble Connection” is the oldest marble collecting site on Earth. (Maybe the whole Universe) We are all here to further the knowledge of these cute little orbs known as many years as humans have been together and enjoying the partnership that has been bringing us together for many years, all of us together—regardless of whatever. I just love this stuff—just love it—all are included—“All “for sure from “newbie” to Expert. Let’s just keep it to marbles and enjoy each other’s opinions—politics and otherwise can be talked about elsewhere. This is a marble site—let’s just talk marbles and keep it there. What a great thing to talk about and discuss---(and they do not take too much room) Marble—On!!
  19. Great bunch in that Last image--all are very nice--the last shot should be in a book--very nice images. These Vitro with the bright but subdued yellow have always knocked my socks off. Marble--On!!
  20. Very cool Fire--like a brown based "Tracer". Very cool. Marble--On!!
  21. This is a tuff one Fire and I would say that it was dug. It may just be a dug Pelt for that matter. Nice find! Marble--On!!
  22. Vacor Fiesta Imho--currently called "Party". Not an Atmo--- Marble--On!!
  23. I cannot recall seeing one Fire but there must be--especially with green involved. Marble--On!!
