  1. I have a nice brick shooter. I didn’t think it was oxblood, but I didn’t know about possible variations. Alley Pennsboro Seems to match the one on the left that I couldn’t identify. Thank you all for focusing my search.
  2. Thanks everyone. Can anyone post a pic of a similar verified alley? I cant agree or disagree. I have not found a conclusive reference yet. I've been looking at videos and pics but I can't match it positively.
  3. I’m a newbie. So my credentials are unestablished. However, I concur. But because I’m not good yet with marble identification, I emphasized my examination upon the logo itself. It’s a poor copy. It does not match the proven originals in numerous places. Key in macro style as in a handwriting analysis. They don’t match. The only other explanation is a different picture run. But even then, it’s on the wrong marble. It sucks, but it is what it is. Close but no cigar.
  4. Mib on the left is in question. It might be oxblood. Base is more olive green in sunlight. Kind of muddy yellow/olive. Other mibs in photo to compare/contrast colors. Thank you.
  5. And I’m having trouble with the red/ white orange pattern too. The orange leans brownish in person…
  6. Close guess! It’s a bit over 5/8” actually .65 ish. Pics don’t do it justice. Thank you.
  7. I realize they were not a specific intentional type. Considered to be a “defect “. I have to politely, and perhaps incorrectly disagree.
  8. They could be brothers….but I think this is convincing. Nice mib. HTF.
  9. Early CAC. 3 examples of mine. Tomato soup color variant.
  10. CAC striped opaque. Shows Jagged cut. And colors are right….Just my 2 cents.
  11. Hey everyone. Newbie requesting help.
  12. I should have included the size in the description. Hehe. Typical newbie error I suppose..I appreciate your help with identification.
  13. Early one then. Thank you. I suspected it was not a true Corn Husk because of the UV factor.
  14. Thank you. A true Cornhusk appears not like a cat eye. Apparently the “husk” is very close to the surface. Not a deep ribbon.
  15. Old Cornhusk? New Cats eye? It’s UV reactive….whatever it is, it’s cool.
  16. As a newbie I know very little, what can anyone tell me about this one. The age/history is of great interest.
  17. Thank you. We bought a rechargeable black light/ flashlight. UV reactive marbles are so cool. We will definitely be posting pics for identification. Let the fun begin!
  18. Thank you. It seems to be a nice starter collection. It will take some time to learn to identify and grade them. I already like it better than coin collecting.
  19. Thank you. I’m abandoning my coin collection. Marbles are more interesting. I’m a single father. I Mainly bought the collection for my 11 yr old autistic son. He shows no interest in coins. But he is excited about marbles. So I’ll build him a collection we can gather together. I think we did okay. We paid $275.
