So-- I know that these are Akro corkscrews, and I'm working on sub categories...So-- from left to right, I have two 3-colored 'Specials', a 2-colored 'Special', and 2 Onyx's(transparent w/white ribbon that dives under the surface??

The one first presented is on the right end. The rest are new and inline starting from the left. Lobes everywhere on all of their backsides except for the middle blue one...conjectures and hypothesis's ? Personally, I haven't a clue.

There are a few others that are 9 & tail that were acquired with the same group. Same size etc. I can provide pics of them if you like to contrast and compare...?

Does Vitro actually have "V's" on some of their marbles?? Seriously-never would have guessed...I'll be looking for those.

These three were making me scratch my head too. -Especially the middle one- so it could be Vitro? I was not sure if it could be a wonky MK or a wonky V. Tigers eye...

Great resource on guineas Ric! I wish that I had seen it earlier. I recognized them as guineas and wanted to add them to my pile so I purchased them-they weren't expensive so I lucked out. Boris, I love Japan! I have been there many times so if these are from Japan then I am very glad to have them! Cool! Do I have a creased pontil??

Here is my contribution. As information comes in, I will edit it and someday clean up my bad hand writing---it is a start...Please look forward to a more concise listing, and remember that this first attempt is not complete. If others are interested, please make your version of this kind of list--Knowledge is power!!

That is great! ...I guess I am making a graph with as many companies listed and what sizes they traditionally made including anomalies and outliers...as they re dug up...COOL!

hmmm....The reason that I asked is that I heard certain companies didn't make certain sizes of marbles. If someone was trying to sell a marble of a certain company that didn't make a specific size, and the marble was different, then you would know that it was a fake, or actually made by someone else. I would think that a graph or list would have been compiled ages ago....I'm a little surprised that it hasn't.

I truly wish that it was oxblood, but unfortunately it is dark purple brown. It also has some bubble 'pops' in it but not mush wear aside from that. I was hoping the same thing about being a CAC. I am glad that it is mine though....(dragon hoarding thoughts)....
