  1. LOL!! I tried roasting Popcorn!-not marshmallows. In the '60's I got a popcorn maker for X-mas. One day, I somehow threw a shirt over it without thinking and went out to play while it was popping. Then, Mom just came home from work and found the house filled with smoke and a hole flame/burning in the shirt!! I got one hell of a spanking for that. The popcorn maker was thrown out, and I wasn't allowed to 'cook' anything until I was 16 years old. Marshmallows would have been safer because you can't walk away while roasting them. The next one....the lie is that you "lived in California"..

  15. My meager income and tiny budget won't allow for such rarified glass treasures. But I can dream of 'the perfect marble. High end art and treasured marbles can end up owning you instead of you owning them. But.... here are some that I lust after...

  17. Wow! Those sure look like my marble! Now I am confused. Those look like siblings of my marble! Even the Aquarius run marble is pictured!
  18. This very old, practically mint, gold(ish) lutz ribbon with green ribbon on an extremely rare pink base went to auction and reached over 27,000$ in a bidding war. It is the most expensive marble ever bought at auction.
  19. I am posting a pic of what some consider the ultimate marble At over 27,000$, the two bidding on it thought so.
