  1. That's right Fire, every time I look at it I see my cat's eye! ðŸĪŠ
  2. Yes, I grabbed the first two. They have excellent size, no flaws, very attractive and a great deal. The one that looks like a cub-scout is a little higher. I haven't gotten that one. All by the same seller. 1930s is a long time ago.
  3. For some reason I like the blue/yellow better. It's a larger cub-scout MCS. I'm not finding any like that.
  4. I'm excited that this is an Akro Agate Imperial. Saw one that stood out a while back that was listed as an oxblood. I think it was about .80 with micro bubbles. Cool... Found this: https://www.allaboutmarbles.com/viewtopic.php?t=52483 They start talking about Akro Imperials by the 10th reply.
  5. .79 Definitely Akro The Carnelian envelopes the oxblood on both sides. (thin lines) Has anyone seen this type of marble?
  6. Quite impressive, Va...
  7. It's still an extremely beautiful marble, Parmcat, and a keeper. The bubbles adds to it's beauty. Worthy part of a collection.
  8. It is, congratulations 🎊 👏 💐 Akro
  9. It looks like from left to right you have a akro liberty, akro blue&yellow corkscrew. The middle one looks like a fabulous Carnelian Oxblood I think. Is that brown in there? I don't know what the green/orange one is. The last one on the right is a remarkable Akro Agate "Tri-Color" Corkscrew or a "Special" or even an Akro Agate Four-Color Special
  10. I think it's almost .7 Fire, don't you like these? How's it look? I think it's something my uncle would love. These are 4 more pictures of the 1st marble.
  11. 9 of my favorite marbles showed up at a online clothing store.
  12. I didn't know this: Later German slags: Many German "two-seam" or "striped transparent" slags were produced on machines, particularly from the 1950s to the 1960s. These are often easier to find and are identified by their uniform seam(s) and consistent patterns.
  13. Yeah, the size is what I was interested in but now it's a mystery. I should contact them about their marble, abstract more information/history.
  14. That's where my dad passed away also. My step mother still lives there. I grew up there in early childhood. What a small world 🌎
  15. Well Louisiana is good for seafood and little antique boxes that hold marbles. My own family grabbed 2 of mine.
  16. Thanks, Fire. I'm not getting it. I was just interested in it's size. Being how big it is, it must be a German and they don't know it.
  17. They are some kind of antique dealer so I took it for granted it was a CAC. What's it more valuable as? A German or CAC? These antique dealers can be wrong.
  18. That's like finding a 250 dollar mint shooter Lemonade oxblood full of blood for 8 dollars I think?
