Ric Posted October 29, 2009 Report Share Posted October 29, 2009 Please excuse the dirty marble and poor pics. This is a tough one to photograph. In normal room light it looks like a black cork on a red/orange base. But a closer look reveals a stripe of black/green/gold and browns with three complete twists on a dark red/orange transparent base, that looks a bit like a snake when backlit. I see all kinds of things on/in it with a loop - certainly some filaments that look like oxblood, but I don't really think it is - certainly an enigmatic little marble . . .
