Handmade With Unusual Latt

I have several latticino marbles with a 2 color latt but this one looks odd. The colors are (for lack of a better description) a muddy dirt brown and white intertwined. The outer ribbons/bands are white and muddy dirt brown also.

I can't remember ever seeing this brown color before and I've seen many collections of vintage handmades. Is it unusual?

That certainly does seem unusual. Can't say I've recalled reading anything about brown in latt's. Pretty kewl stuffs!

Brown would be a sleeper or something muddying the waters, either way decidedly different. David

This marble noted above by Steph is also unusual for the Brown but the brown latticinio trumps it. I don't recall ever previously hearing about true brown in those circumstances. Let's see, that should have a factor multiplication of at least '15X.' David

Looked at a fair number of latticinios and never seen a brown lat . . . although I have an alternating red and white latticinio in which the red looks "muddy" (brownish) in halogen (flashlight) light, but true red in daylight. Go figure . . . Anyway, I'd say yours is rare, for sure --
