We have made arrangements with Comfort Suites to have a additional 15 more rooms blocked with the marble group,until April 30. The hotel is booked full for May 14 saturday night,but they still have openings for Wed. May 11,Thur May 12 and Friday nights May 13. Do not hesitate to make your reservation if you have any plans of coming to the show. Call Comfort Suites south Parkersburg,Mineral Wells WV 304-489-9600 mention that you will be with the marble group. This will place you with the other marble people and incude the special rate until April 30. Make sure you get the exact dates,nights reserved that you need. As of today Comfort Suites had 7-8 rooms open,in the group blocked by the WVMCC for the marble show group. Tommorow is the last day that they are blocked,then they are open to anyone. The hotel has people on a cancelation list,waiting to make reservations. There is also a wedding and a sports tournament going on there at the same time as the marble show. If anyone has plans of attending the marble show,tommorow(saturday)is the last day to get a room at the hotel where the show is. If you know anyone planning on going,please pass the info along to them. If the weather permits we plan on having the show outside in the court yard. This year we honor the Vitro Agate Company. There should be some unusal original Vitro packages,boxes,bags,at the show. Some that may have never been seen by collectors. Saturday April 30 is the last day for reservations with the marble group.
