Probably isn't the only big marble to go through that treatment. Some kids couldn't help themselves trying to see what was inside.

Who wouldn't want an example like this to save themselves the trouble?

As a side note, I've heard plenty of sulphides ended up the same way, trying to break loose the toy animal/figure inside (which looked metal but obviously wasn't) :)
