JVVmarbles
I recently added this very strange and colorful single pontil cloud to my collection. It's quite large, 1-5/16" and has big chunks and blobs of color (yellow, mint green, dark green, blue, salmon pink and purple!). Here are some pics. I'm looking forward to hearing your reactions. wediscount2
Would like to see a clearer shot of the pontil, and maybe a little closer up view of the pontil. The colors seem odd to me. Ronnie
savage-28
It is interesting! The color blobs resemble a Guinea. Are you confident it's antique? Maybe some experts will chime in.

RonnieSorry for the crappy ipad pics...the pontil is the same rough pontil as on the brightly colored English style swirls and Joseph's coats, also the colors are similar. Here's a slightly better photo of the pontil, I'll try again tomorrow in daylight. lstmmrbls
Very interesting for sure. Unless the base glass is UV sensitive I would have thoughts someone is getting real good with faking old marbles.

I've been collecting antique handmade marbles for over 20 years and I'm absolutely sure this marble is antique.
