lstmmrbls Posted March 20, 2014 Report Share Posted March 20, 2014 Polished marbles was a description used for the smooth, nicely rounded, usually colored clays that looked "polished", I am not sure of the process but they are clays. Many catalogs of the times listed "Polished" clays.. Look at the bottom of this ad.
