greg11
Anyone know the fate of clydes collection? Makes me wonder what to do with my collection...its not like coins where if the family had no interest they could take them to a coin shop. sissydear
I would imagine Clyde left instructions. That's what all of you should do.
SNYD
I have heard that Clyde had instructions and that a very well known, honest and knowledgeable collector is to oversee the handling of his collection. SNYD
sissydear
That's great! His folks will not get cheated. We should all do that.
sissydear
At one time I had told my son to ask Alan Bassinette to help him if he wanted to sell mine, but that plan is null and void. I think my son and grandson will keep my marbles. The grandson has an interest.
Gnome Punter
Pretty sure Clyde would not want his family handling his marble affairs. He seemed to see "us" as his family and those of blood relations as parasites. Clyde send my youngest son a beautiful fossilized fish for his birthday several months ago. He also liked fossils and thought it would be a nice, encouraging gift. I sent him a white peltier slag that was 11/16 that he acted as if it were one of his "Grails". The guy was what made this hobby the most fun for me. I kept sending him and odd peltier I found. I msut have sent him 50 Yin/yang pelts
