ValerieJ
Hi.. I'd like to identify this marble to reflect an accurate price when selling. It's BIG! Please look at the pictures and let me know what you think. Thanks!.. It's black and orange- I think I'll call it Halloween
Steph
Hello. Welcome to the forum. At well over an inch in diameter, that is almost certainly a foreign marble. Probably a Vacor, from Mexico. The current company making them is Fabricas Selectas, if I'm up to date. We call them Vacor because it's so much easier, and because that was once the company's name. It's a modern marble, likely made after the year 2000. You could set the price for a few dollars and see what would happen. Such a large marble might sell for more than the average Vacor would. MC Marbles
I agree with Steph!
Bocci
I agree vacor but I was told circa 1990's and possibly experimental. (sorry about the dish-pan hands.) But If you look up all the vacor examples and they are pretty well documented, I have yet to see this one.
Al Oregon
The Black Panther is one possibility. Also, the Pirate. And, last, the Scorpion but it is a little more red.
Bocci
I think the black panther and pirate are actually one in the same. And yes a good possibility. I think the scorpion color is more orange then red and matches the above marble perfect but the swirls are very thin and not wide like the two above.
