aleecee
Most of them look new/Vacor. The clays are old, but not highly valuable/collectible. I think I spy some Jabo and what looks like a nice Akro Limeade. The bag is cute too...anything it it?
VegasJunker
Thanks for the reply. It is an online auction so I have no idea what is in the bag. I've contacted the company asking for more info and if I receive any I will post it here. I've found that a high percentage of auctions have a mix of new and old marbs, yet they all say they are "vintage" or "antique" marbles which really misleads newbs like myself. Thank goodness for sites like this!
lstmmrbls
I believe the Akro look alike is also a Vacor. Save your money.
Nantucketdink
The glass marbles are almost all Vacors and JABOs as the others have said.
VegasJunker
Thanks for the all responses. I passed on those but I do intend to purchase these, even if they are Vacors. They are so pretty! Can anyone help me identify these? The 2 I like most are the 2 in the front, right side that have the blue, yellow and red, I love those for some reason. The small multicolor in the back left is really neat too. As usual, thanks in advance! I swear I am reading Marble Alan's site but am not there yet. another shot: and 1 last one:
Steph
I'm going to guess modern on the most colorful ones but I don't recognize them. Could they be special runs from Jabo? The left one with red on one side and a gold-ish band on the other could be vintage and Vitro Agate. The left one with red ribbons on a white base could be vintage, and so could the blue and white in front, but I'm not sure about the blue and white or about the green in the back. The green in the back makes me wonder what size it is and I'm sort of thinking Jabo Classic on it.
