The Upper Peninsula is above Wisconsin ... and is a lot bigger than I realized. The lower part ... I didn't realize that was also a peninsula, but sure enough that "piece of land" is almost surrounded by water -- by Lake Michigan, Lake Huron and even some of Lake Erie, and Lake St. Clair.
