Opalescent melon ball

Anybody else find a melon ball like this? It's a tad under 5/8" and has a ground pontil and opalescent white glass. It came along with two similarly sized ones, white and apple green, both with regular pontils.

I gave up trying to photograph the pontil.

Neat but would love to have one in a much bigger size!

Possibly a Ballot ball?

I asked Bob Block and he said ballot box ones tend to be more opaque and of harder glass.

I have all of two melon balls.  I pulled out the white one and hoped for opalescence, but no.  I tried to imagine that I was seeing a hint of orange, but it was just wishful thinking.

I did get a little fire coming through the blue one.  

I don't know how to judge the pontils.  Faceted I think on the white and maybe melted on the blue, but not sure.  The marbles came with a date -- July 14, 1879.
