Dave Roach
I know NOTHING about marbles. I found a cool marble in a creek where I live near Amarillo, TX and wanted to identify it, so I'm relying on you guys! The marble isn't shiny, it's rough and pitted and has some crescent shaped little marks on it. Color looks turquoise and red-orange. Size is slightly bigger than traditional glass marbles you get in the store these days. Can you tell me anything about this??? Thanks! winnie
It seems to be a heavily played Peltier Peerless patch.

Steph
Agree. Glass in spite of the appearance -- it was once smooth and shiny. From roughly 1930.
