What kind of Marble is this

Standard size?

I once collected all the black-ish base  with white-ish ribbon WV swirl images I could find.  Hoping I'd learn to tell which is which based on the subtle tints or the ribbons shapes.  

I never got a good handle on it.  

 

But with the purple tint maybe someone else can narrow it down.

More clear version of the above answer:

 

This is a West Virginia swirl.

That means it's made by one of the dozen or more marble companies operating in West Virginia in the 1930's through 1950's.  

It's hard to narrow down which of the swirl companies could have made it.
