Davidleatherman
Hi I need some help with ID on these 3 marbles. They are shooter size. Thanks, Dave
Steph
Hmmmm ... I think Alley on the red and white. (If vintage, then definitely Alley on the red and white.) I guess that _could_ be Alley on the other one. I look forward to hearing what others say.
Davidleatherman
These look like vintage and they have glue on half of them. Is there something that takes the glue off and doesn’t harm the marble? thanks Dave
Steph
I would try alcohol. Or most any other traditional way of removing glue from glass. There are _some_ glass marbles which can be damaged by applying solvents. But most will be safe. I would take the chance. I'd start with a red and white one. The other one is more unusual, so I'd wait on that one to see how things worked with the first marble or what comments others might say.
