Steph
That's a good guess. With the texture I could see it being older. I don't think I"m seeing the cutlines clearly.
godown
Yep the older one`s i have 3 here that came with a group of r/w Jap transitional`s one of those rare times when all the sellers marble groups were genuinely older i also have some of the more modern Anacorte that came out of a shur shooter " fantasy bag " so pretty confident
Nantucketdink
All of the 5/8" range Vitro Anacortes Classics were made in one run in 1991 or 1992.
DINDO
Yep 5/8 -11/16. Its a nice marble ,very candy looking. Is there a way to discern their reissues to the originals?
godown
yep same the one`s i think are older 2 at 11/16 , 1 at 21 / 32 , newer are 5/
Nantucketdink
Its not like the few 3/4"-7/8" range shooter size Vitro Anacortes Classics were much earlier. There are only a few of them and it just isn't documented what year exactly between 1988 and 1992 they were made (as far as I know). They do not resemble the 5/8" Anacortes Classics anyway. Sure the marble could be an earlier Vitro, just not an earlier Anacortes Vitro.
Steph
If older, I'm wondering if it could be Japanese.
