Old vs New

I do believe the left is a old slag and the right is a new mod. Any thoughts? I would like to add to the study hall if correct.

I would not consider the left to be a slag.  It lloks like a red transparent swirl.  Right could be a newer Vacor Rooster.

Yes. Now that you say that about the left,makes more sense. The right i always believed to be a rooster too. Thanks Al. Here i hope is a slag pic, that probably would have been good to add as a third in original.

Interesting cut line in the last view of the left marble.

Curious what you think of that cutline.

Also whats the difference between a seam and a cutline?

A cutline is more or less the same as a seam.  On some marbles people are more likely to say cutline (marbles such as MFCs). And sometimes I say one or the other without thinking why.  

I don't what to make of that cutline.  Is it the only one visible?
