Rainbow or Rainbo?

Why Peltier ?  looks Vitro to me.

Thanks Ron.  The dark lines line give it a "baseball" look and I guess that was clouding my judgement.  Looking at examples of Tiger Eye Type 2 some of them have the dark lines as well.  So is this a variation of a Tiger Eye?

Is the dark line, actual dark color or clear ?

I'm seeing clear rather than dark.  Seeing  that as a Tiger Eye with  two shades of blue on a clear base.

I've looked at through a jewelers loop and I've shined a light on it and it appears solid.

The blue glass on the bottom looks thick. But look straight across under the yellow.  See if you can't get some light to go into there are cross through there.

It's clear.  I held up to an incandescent lightbulb and the light shines through right where you thought it would.

A Vitro Tiger eye.  It helps many times to back light a marble. That is a marble with the colors veneered on the surface of a clear base. It saves cost, less amount of colors used.  Clear is the cheapest base glass, next would be white.  One hundred or a thousand times more clear and white glass cullet available to make marbles with than colored glass. A reason you will see more clear or white base marbles than solid colored base glass.
