Tel marbles
I was given these marbles a long time ago. They are very mis-shaped any idea?? Do you think they might have been homemade??
Steph
These are Jabos. Made between 1991 and 2007. Check the lavender under blacklight. Much of Jabo's lavender was made from Fenton Burmese glass cullet with uranium. Jabo mostly did industrial marbles. Their play marbles, known as "classics" were more of a side project. They didn't have or need the quality control other companies had which specialized in play marbles. http://joemarbles.com/2Manufacturers History Pages/10Jabo/Jabo, Inc..htm

wvrons
Homemade ? Handmade and or machine made. Handmades are made at one or two or three or four at a time, from a cane of glass at about one marble each 3-5 minutes. . The machine mades are made with mechanical equipment and a marble machine at about 250 per minute. The handmades all have a pontil marks where it was attached to a punty rod or cut off of the glass cane. There are old handmades and new contemporary handmades. There are old machine mades and newer machine mades.
wvrons
A marble which glows under blacklight does not mean it is old. Almost or every marble company made some marbles which will glow. Some were made intentional to glow and some were not.
